Hey everyone, currently doing some research on an oolitic ironstone unit. The pictures you see below are from a thin section scan. The second and third photos show a long wiggly shape that i cannot explain. Has anyone seen anything similar before? For background the matrix in this sample is dominated by iron oxides and siderite, with the ooids(?) composed of chamosite.
