I've been searching the net. I am pretty sure there is a fairly similar far side cartoon to the image we see at the start of this thread.

I think you might be right K. I seem to remember something like this also. Even the strange posture of the hominid in the hoax reminds me of the something I've seen before.

Maybe they reproduced the cartoon intentionally, but if they did, they didn't mention it in their article.

Well, I looked online, and I checked my 6th collection of farside cartoons. Unless I want to buy the delux 2-volume (entire collection) set of Gary Larson cartoons for around $60, we may never know.....

wasnt there one , in which a fossil guy was found inside a fossil footprint of a dinosaur? Im sure your right. Now Im starting to remember that even the facial features were the same.

That fossil would pose an impossible situation anyway. Theres no way that, even assuming the carnosaur would be able to eat a primate, that they would die in that pose. it doesn't make sense. That would be like if I were to die and my fossils show me apparently chasing a dog. This would make no sense because the dog and I would not fall and die and preserve these positions anyway. Creationists are sooo stretching things a.k.a. they have a tendency to lie.
