The mysterious wet floor death.

In an apartment a man was found dead. He died from hanging himself or someone hanged him. ON the floor a person found a note. It says hello, if you are reading this letter i am dead. SInce i am no longer living i want you to find out how i died. The floor was wet but there was nothing that he could of stand on to hang him self. there was no chair or anything. Just a wet rug and a body hanging on a rope. how did he die?
