There are 2 doors to a room. One of these 2 is 'death door', another one is 'life door'. If you entre thru 'death door', you will die. And the 'life door' is safer one.
For each of these doors there is a security man. One of these men ALWAYS LIES. The other security man ALWAYS SAYS TRUTH.
You have to enter into the room......in order to survive you must enter thru 'life door'. You don't know which is 'life door'. You also don't know who says LIES and who says TRUTH.
You can ask any 1 of the security men 1 AND ONLY 1 QUESTION.
Then you must be able find out which is 'life door'.
So......WHAT WOULD BE YOUR QUESTION?
I hate when I find myself in these situations! As you can only ask one question, the question would be "is the other door guarded". If he says no then you have the lying guard. Then you TELL, not ASK, the other guard to let you out. Of course, your post does not tell us that the lying guard is guarding the "death door".

One more thing......You dont know who is gaurding which door....I mean u don't know whether the 'life door' is gaurded by 'LIE' person or 'TRUTH' person.
The ultimate aim is to know which is 'life door' by asking any 1 of the men 1 and only 1 question.
Use the equation -1^n, where n=powers of subjunctivity, negative one denotes inconclusive results, and positive 1 denotes conclusive results.
Any question of 0 or an even multiple of subjunctivity will be inconclusive. Any question with an odd multiple of subjunctivity will be conclusive.

so the question will be
if i saked the other guard about the life door.what would be his answer?
if the guard is liar so will tell me the wrong door
if he is the trush person he will give me the liar answer (the wrong door)
any way i will go through the other door

Umm... actually, I got the correct answer before usamashaker. There was only one subjunctive level in his question, therefor it yeilds conclusive results. This has already been covered.
