I should probably add that as weird as that sounds (Mars' oceans getting dumped here), the choices seem to be that, parallel evolution which the laws of probability pretty much prohibit, or having Captain Midnight or Zorro or somebody having once taken a bunch of urchins, trilobytes and what not in his space ship and dumped them into our waters.

Beats hell outta me . . . it tried to read his stuff when i was in college, but i couldn't maintain the grind . . . however, this topic convinces me that you'd enjoy his work.

Try this:

Worlds in Collision, Immanuel Velikovsky, London, Gollancz, 1950.

Jeez, I remember that book floating around my college campus, too. And someone feverishly telling me I had to read it.

I'd believe pretty much anything back then (Paul is dead, Jesus as a mushroom), but still....

No that's not all I had to work with. Try reading the original article...

I did. Lots more bad pictures and bad assumptions. Find a picture that "very clearly" shows a muti-cellular organism and I'll believe you.

As an example of "very clearly" we'll use your Horse picture from before, since you offered it as a comparative standard.

That's not a Martian Urchin, it's an out of focus Spherule.

Now here's a clear image of a Sea Urchin exoskeleton.

I was hoping Gungasnake would give me a little Christmas present, and post about something other than Mars, the evil Clintons, or the evil democrats/liberals.

(hint, hint)

Does this mean that *you* believe in God?

You've never directly stated such.

~~~
Forgot to say thank you, sorry.
I got so caught up in the God question I didn't realize you had actually fulfilled my request re: posting about a different topic.
So, thanks.
