Since the original topic on this subject was locked in 2003, would you please explain a bit about how the "User Groups" have (d)evolved as to their originally-stated intent and member usage?
From a newbie's perspective, they appear to be limited in number and quite resemble some sort of clique mentality. I would like to know why there are so few as well as to be (hopefully) disspelled of my presumption of their appearance of exclusivity.
