Research Topics on Terrorism

Hello everyone! So, I'm writting an essay on terrorism, but I've spent too many hours thinking about the theme and now I feel like I can't come up with new ideas.

I wouldn't like to write about topics which were already super explored, and that's why I'm asking you - what do you think are the most important questions about terrorism today? what topics have not been answered yet? Thanks a lot!
