God is not free, his creation of the universe is a necessity, wherein because of his nature to do good, he cannot stop himself from creating the universe.

what do you think?

The "god of Christianity" is an abomination...a vengeful, anger driven, quick to be offended; slow to forgive, murderous, barbaric, petty cartoon god that demands payment for goddam near everything and anything.

To suppose that god is "free" in any way...is absurd.

To suppose that god is free or not free in the sense of...

"God is not free, his creation of the universe is a necessity, wherein because of his nature to do good, he cannot stop himself from creating the universe...

...is so bizarre, I have difficulty understanding how or what prompted you to ask it.

I hope this has been of help, Neo.

I find it interesting, from a speculative point of view.

Having a god enslaved to his own creation would make a nice short story

Hey, did anybody notice? I stopped using the dash in god g-d.
I still feel a little dirty doing it, but it wasn't worth people interrupting me all the time to ask about it.

God is God. What do you mean by "free" - as in no-charge, or as in freedom?

God created us because he/she wanted companionship with the perfect beings, part solar and part earth. But, we left God thinking we could do a better job of creating. So, here we are eons later whining and moaning about what we have created. So simple, when all we have to do is remember who and what we are.

Really!

Is this something you know...or is this merely another wild guess?
