Witchcraft and Christianity

Hello...i have just stumbled across this place and thought i'd pick your brains on an essay i am currently (trying) to write.

It is on Christianity and witch-belief and witch hunts.

Would anyone know of any good links on the web for this topic? I am wary of using the internet for my research, but would welcome recommendations!

Thanks! Smile

I think that these can get you started. Don't be afraid of using the internet for research. You just need to learn which sites are credible, and which are junk. Good luck!

Here's one that sort of characterizes a certain sect of modern American Christianity and witchcraft.

You better initiate the PM process, shewolfnm. I understand new members can reply, but not PM someone who hasn't contacted them first.

I can't add a recommendation to any of the excellent sites already posted by Phoenix, Noddy and FreeDuck. But I highly recommend a book on the subject, Witchcraft by the late Charles Williams, theologian and lecturer at Oxford despite his lack of a formal graduate degree. The book was first published in 1941 but is still available, I believe, in paperback from Meridian Books Inc., New York, NY.
