There are three men who go to a hotel and decide to rent a room. They ask how much is a room & the man says $30 per room. So the 3 men decide to split the cost of the room in 3 parts. So each man pays $10 dollars. After being in the hotel for a while they decided to leave early and ask to see if they can get a discount and the receptionist talks with the manager and the manager gives the 3 men five dollars back, but the receptionist says how will I split $5 dollars with 3 people. So she decides to give each man $1 dollar and keep for herself 2 dollars. So when the guys figure out how much actually they had paid for the room they found out that they paid $9 dollars each .Which equals to 3men*9Dollars each=$27 But adding the receptionist 2 dollars it sums up to $29.00 .
So where is the missing dollar?
