Could it be that yr "sent" folder is 100% full - have you tried clearing it ?

Sarah, because of certain problems involving PM's, one must be a long standing member to have access to the private message feature.
It's just a safety precaution here on the site.

I do understand about the safety precautions......and I would not abuse the PM service, it's just I would like to reply to one....I could before (even though I can't PM yet) and now suddenly I can't. I have cleared my inbox (bar one) but still can't reply.

I've not been on the site for a while. I was able to send and receive PM's when I was last on but today when I tried to write one, I couldn't.
