Now, if you were a white person from South Africa, and now a US citizen...would you
consider yourself "African-American?"
Got that Charlize Theron poster up this week, huh?
Surely. The very definition of the African-American does not imply that he or she is mandatory Black. Immigrants from Egypt or Morocco ( usually they are White Arabs) to Bolivia and their offspring may also call themselves the Afroamericans, since they were born in Africa and now live in America (no one can deny that Bolivia is in America and not in Europe).
um i think under the new Ashcroft rules of immigration you would be considered a potential terrorist and locked up and deported to Cuba.
Not locked up and deported, Dys, geeze . . .
Detained for questioning . . .
A White South African will be deported to Cuba, or a Moroccan national having immigrated to Bolivia?
oops sorry setanta i forget to use "new speak"
