Suggestions Needed!!!

Hello, I am writing a book about traveling to New Zealand. I was hoping that anybody who has been there recently or even better who lives there, could give me some suggestions for my book. In my book, me and some friends travel to places that Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit has been shot. So if there is some places to eat or even 'visit' please let me know. Thanks so much!!!! Going to write about both the North and South islands.
