Good Wodin's Day to all. It's a lovely day in our Florida radio station.

Hurry back, edgar, izz with a y and Vonny.

Latin George, that quote from Shakespeare was funny. "...I'll tickle your catastrope", made me smile.

Here's one to match edgar's

and a birthday man: Here's a tribute by Josh Groban.

First, some info:

Neil Percival Young, (born November 12, 1945) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. He began performing in a group covering Shadows instrumentals in Canada in 1960, before moving to California in 1966, where he co-founded the band Buffalo Springfield along with Stephen Stills and Richie Furay, later joining Crosby, Stills & Nash as a fourth member in 1969. He forged a successful and acclaimed solo career, releasing his first album in 1968; his career has since spanned over 45 years and 35 studio albums.

I'm going to play one from one of my favourite Scottish bands and I'm going to dedicate it to Scotland because I'm feeling guilty already for the hiding we're (the Irish) going to give them on Friday night.

The Blue Nile - - let's go out tonight.

@izzythepush,
True true, plus the FAI are looking into a few others, there's talk of Graziano O' Pellè and Dusan O' Tadic having Irish blood.
Or that they ate Irish stew at some point and that's good enough.

@eurocelticyankee,
What about Jack Cork? You don't even have to fanny about with his name.

A memory test to all. We don't do the rating system here any longer, as it doesn't match the radio's format.

Sorry that I can't comment on each contribution, but suffice it to say they were all great.

Vonny, had you replied to all, you would have noticed that my contribution worked.

euroGeorge, as you know we love everything you play here, my Irish friend. Also love our French man's contribution.

I was thinking of Afton mountain today. So long ago, I would stand on the brink and look down at the land that my ancestors owned. Also thought of this beautiful place.

Swannanoa is an Italian Renaissance Revival villa built in 1912 by millionaire and philanthropist James H. Dooley above Rockfish Gap on the border of northern Virginia.

Here's one Scottish song (lyrics by Robert Burns) that is lovely.

and, y'all, one inspired by our British friend.

@eurocelticyankee,
euroGeorge, That was a funny one by Goldfrapp. Didn't know it, so thanks again for the introduction.

edgar, Love Joan doing Love is Just a Four Letter Word

Well, y'all, today is Rodin's birthday and I know that sculpture best for The Kiss and The thinker. No full slide show by him, because it's much too risque.

Instead, How about Prelude to a kiss by Sarah.

and dear Paul Robeson thinking.

Well, as I have noted before YOU are the radio, folks.

Although it is better to acknowledge each contribution here instead of one on one replies.

Going to say good late afternoon with two songs. First, Diana:

She's doing a cover of Nat Cole's song.

Now, Celtic lady:

Great having England, Ireland, and France with us today. Maybe Scotland tomorrow.

From Letty with love to all of you here.
