@Olivier5,
Well that's that, I've gone off her now, I'm so shallow....
I see a good looking rich successful sexy chick and I immediately want to marry her, what am I like?.
I like Tina..... is she single?.

Arena was married to her manager Ralph Carr. They married in 1995 and divorced in 1999. She now lives with her partner, French artist Vincent Mancini, and their son.

Good morning from our Florida radio station.
Great mix of music last evening from France England and Ireland. Sorry that I cannot acknowledge each one.

edgar, Leonard and "the fab four were great.

Latin George, Blue Heron was also excellent. I have some white egrets prancing around in my front yard.

Two songs from here in our radio station.

First, Since it is Veterans Day here, a tribute.

Bien sûr, celle de l’an quarante [WW2]

Guerres saintes, guerres sournoises
Qui n’osent pas dire leur nom,
Chacune a quelque chose pour plaire,
Chacune a son petit mérite,
Mais, mon colon, celle que j’préfère,
C’est la guerre de quatorze-dix-huit !

Du fond de son sac à malices,
Mars va sans doute, à l’occasion,
En sortir une - un vrai délice -
Qui nous fera grosse impression...
En attendant, je persévère
A dire que ma guerre favorite
Celle, mon colon, que je voudrais faire,
C’est la guerre de quatorze-dix-huit !

@Letty,
Great find! That must be the only song by Brassens which was ever translated into English. And well translated too !

@Olivier5,
Well, Monsieur, as I have said before, you inspire us here. I may have a gene of French, too. Just found out that one of my ancestors had Beauford as a name.

Now, a birthday man's tribute:
