@McTag,
They played Cliff on some of the American stations I listened to, but not often.

Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Tate modern prize winner Steve McQueen was on Desert Island Discs today. This was one of his 8 records.

You must have seen this already, the vid won some MTV award this year. The song is okay but nothing special. The reason I am airing it is the dancing is absolutely amazing...

Maddie Ziegler began dancing at the age of 2. She currently attends the Abby Lee Dance Company. In 2011, she was a contestant on the CBS dance competition show Live to Dance, but the show was cancelled before her episode aired. Later that year, Ziegler's mother earned a role on Lifetime's Dance Moms, a program that documents the day-to-day lives of the young dancers on the Abby Lee Dance Company Elite Competition Team.

Good morning from our raio station here in Florida.

Sleepless night for me, because of a couple of things which I won't go into.

McTag, great to have you back with us. Didn't know Cliff, but his two songs were great. Thanks again for the introduction. Ah, sorry that I missed Olivier5 and our Pullman songs. Will tell myself and our listeners that they or worth listening to twice.

Two birthday guys for today. First, Gershwin:

Know every one of his songs, y'all.

Fantastic and funny mix of music, y'all.

edgar, I knew that one but in a different key.

Our poem for today:

Morning at the Window
By T.S. Eliot:

They are rattling breakfast plates in basement kitchens,
And along the trampled edges of the street
I am aware of the damp souls of housemaids
Sprouting despondently at area gates.
The brown waves of fog toss up to me
Twisted faces from the bottom of the street,
And tear from a passer-by with muddy skirts
An aimless smile that hovers in the air
And vanishes along the level of the roofs.

It's his birthday.

Two more songs for the afternoon here in our Florida radio station.

First, Johnny Mathis:

Now, The Mills Brothers:

We realize, of course, that everything must be interpreted in the light of the setting event.

@edgarblythe,
Didn't know China Doll by The Ames Brothers, Texas. Great one.

Thinking of Debacle and Hank Williams this afternoon. Here is his son doing a medley of his songs.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comment, Texas, and I love The Christy Minstrels doing that green, green song.

Here's one to match by Tom. (Elvis also did it)

@edgarblythe,
You sent me searching, Texas:

Lord Invader was a prominent calypsonian with a very distinctive, gravelly voice. He was born in San Fernando, Trinidad

I, of course, New The Andrew Sisters did that one and I thought they were German.

I found out that Trinidad is close to Grenada, so here is Andre Rieu and a lovely lady dancing.

I used to think that meant the bird flamingo.

Olivier 5, Some French songs don't need translating. Pascal was great.

Going to say good evening now with two songs:

First, on by the Beatle man.

Now, one for dear Audrey: (lyrics by Johnny Mercer)

Good morning from our Florida radio station.

edgar, I know I Found a New Baby.

How about a couple of songs for this morning.

First, an unusual combination:

Now, a "shade" song.
