I have been very busy this weekend, letty. I did take time to check out all of the music, but could not stop to comment. Now I am slowing down. Here is a goodnight song.

edgar
edgar.

What I tell you three times is true.

Odd, because I saw a black cat on my lawn early this morning, and thought of Edgar Allan Poe.

Sleepless night for me.

Good morning, from our radio station here in Florida. George ob 1, nice to see you back with us, and you reminded me of this:

"The Night Has A Thousand Eyes"

by Francis William Bourdillon

The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying of the sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one;
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.
Loved "the little sparrow" and at one time, I thought she was Canadian.

Today is this wonderful singer's birthday.

Sorry that the song ended a bit early.

"and the moment that I feel that you feel that way, too, is when I give my heart to you."

Ah, I missed our edgar's Perry Como song. Hurry back, Texas.

Today is Debbie Boone's birthday, so let's hope she lights up all of our lives here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC9sEAqEjxs

and, y'all, her dad. Best one I ever heard him sing. First a bit of info on the background:

The Russian Imperial Romanov family (Tsar Nicholas II, his wife Tsarina Alexandra and their five children Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei) and all those who chose to accompany them into exile – notably Eugene Botkin, Anna Demidova, Alexei Trupp and Ivan Kharitonov – were shot in Yekaterinburg on 17 July 1918.[1] The execution of the Tsar and his family was carried out by the Ural Soviet which was led by Yakov Yurovsky. The action had been ordered by the government in Moscow by Vladimir Lenin and Yakov Sverdlov to prevent the rescue of the Imperial Family by approaching White forces during the ongoing Russian Civil War.

We'll never know about that family.

edgar, Loved Turn Around by Harry.

Vonny, didn't know No Regrets by those brother. Great one and thanks again for the introduction.

Can you folks believe that it is dark already here in our Florida radio station?

Going to say good evening now with two songs.

First, for our Olivier 5:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LXl4y6D-QI

Now, a moonlight song taken from a poem:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdqgW-czVjs

now, the lyrics:

Where are you
Beautiful moonlight Madonna
Like the dew
You're gone with the dawn, Madonna
Leaving snows on the carpets of evening
Footprints of magical weaving
Tracing the path
Of my moonlight Madonna
Kneeling under the heavenly ceiling
I pray to her while appealing
For her return
With the moonlight upon her
For the return
Of my moonlight Madonna

Great having England and Ireland with us.

From Letty with love to everyone here

Where is everybody?

Perhaps this great jazz man will coax them back. Today is his birthday:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r594pxUjcz4

and lyrics by The Duke:

In a sentimental mood I can see
The stars come through my room
While your loving attitude
Is like a flame that lights the gloom

On the wings of every kiss
Drift a melody so strange and sweet
In this sentimental bliss
You make my paradise complete

Rose petals seem to fall
It's all like a dream to call you mine
My heart's a lighter thing
Since you made me this night a thing divine

In a sentimental mood
I'm within a world so heavenly
For I never dreamt
That you'd be loving sentimental me
