I'm into a romantic tune - maybe soppy sentimentality. Watching
'Moonstruck' perhaps for the 4th time. Thought of this tune...so here it is.
Maybe someone else likes it, too.

Watching TV and Emmy Lou Harris singing Pancho and Lefty with
Rodney Crowell and the Glory Band -- happens to be on Austin City

I'm in a certain mood for songs that come across as pure poetry. I sure do like this song by The Boss:

Good morning from here in our Florida radio station.

Just a suggestion from your creator of our radio. It's best to simply play two songs here as it stops us from going too far. Sorry that I can't acknowledge each one, bust as you know, my way of thanking you is to thumb you up.

Hope y'all enjoyed the two versions of my contribution as a goodnight from me.

Ragman, thank you for restoring our signal, but had you replied to all, you would have noticed that my two versions worked.

Vonny and osso/jo always nice to see you here.

Two songs for now. First, a birthday gal:

Now, for our German friends:

Hope y'all will thank me for thanking you.

Thanks again, Mr. Photographer.

Welcome back, edgar. Rod Stewart's Maggie was one that I remember, and here's one to match. First some info:

Charlie Landsborough, is a British country and folk musician and singer-songwriter. He started singing professionally in the 1970s, although his major success didn't come until 1994 with his song.

I think most of us know that Don McLean began his fantastic medley in tribute to this man whose birthday is today.

@edgarblythe,
Well, Texas, love that one by Buddy, and Maggie Alone was also done by The Beatles. (they got their name from Buddy's Crickets)

Here's George Harrison doing a great song:

Once again calling all musicians, poets, painters and music lovers. One may chat here as well.

Today is this man's birthday, but first some info:

English actor and director who was largely responsible for the creation of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He acted in the films The Guns of Navarone, H.M.S. Defiant, and David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia.

Now, the theme from The Guns of Navarone:

Thinking of The Lone Ranger today, and here is the theme. It was played upside down by Victor Borge.

I thought that there really was a lone ranger.

Movie trailer.
