@George,
IMHO, the two finest voices of popular music singing a duet. Sadly, both met their fates far too early. R.I.P., dear souls that they were.

It worked, y'all. Hope Roger liked it.

Latin George, your song was great. Hope I didn't miss anyone. You are all my friends.

Once again, a reminder. If you reply to all you would have noticed that my song for Roger worked. If we do too many bumps, it move us closerto a page no.

Going to say good evening a bit early. I want to spend time with my daughter.

Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Ah, I was awakened early this morning by a warning of a tropical storm, and dear Morgan and Mark are going to a state that is in a drought.

First, an instrumental version of The Rose of Tralee:

Do any of our listeners have a request? Hope so, y'all.

Not certain who "Laura" is in this song by The Four Freshmen, perhaps someone out there can explain:

Well, in searching I found it.

Actress Gene Tierney was born into a wealthy family on November 20, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York. She appeared on Broadway in 1938 and transitioned to film in 1940, starring opposite Henry Fonda. She continued in films through the ‘40s and ‘50s. Her most famous role was in the 1944 movie Laura. She struggled with depression in the later part of her life and died in 1991 from emphysema.

I think this links/links will allow you to hear Shirley Bassey sing one of the great versions of this Charles Aznevour song. In fact, all of these are great versions of 'If You Go Away' are being sung here. Dusty Springfield, Barbra Streisand.

Also if yougo to Youtube directly and then let all the connected links play through, there are some incredible torch songs and versions I'm, very touched by. What do you folks think?

@Ragman,
Welcome back, R.M. I had no idea that Shirley Bassey sang that song. She was fantastic. I noticed that many folks did that one.

Here are a couple of "days" for this afternoon.
