@FOUND SOUL,
Hey, Soul lady. That was a great version of Hallelujah. Didn't know Jeff Buckley, but he did a fabulous job. Very sad about his dying. I know what you mean about pc troubles. Having some of my own.

For some reason, I had this one stuck in my head,y'all

Hey, Soul lady. I lost my response to your Jeff Buckley version of Hallelujah. Perhaps it will work later. My pc is misbehaving as well.

Oliver 5, That was a great Fresh version of a tribute to Marilyn Monroe. Poor gal. I remember Sir Elton doing Candle in the Wind for Norma Jean.

Well, I thinking of To To this late afternoon:

@Letty,
You might need to start a new thread, Letty. The need to bump is linked to the length of the thread, no?

Part of it worked. Latin George, I enjoyed The Pretenders' song.

Sleep well, dear euroGeorge.

I'm going to say goodnight a bit early as I don't know what is the problem with my pc.

First George Shearing:

He doing Andy Russel's song. Lets see if I can remember the lyrics.

At the close of each day,
When I'm without you,
And my heart kneels to pray,
I pray about you.

You take a star and lead it far
Away from heaven,

and that star would be lost,
As I'm lost without you.

From Lettty with love to all of you here.

@eurocelticyankee,
Euro!! Letty!

I stopped by just to see if I could get into youtube today (my computer is too old, Apple won't upgrade the old ones), and this time I tried to hear Paddy O'Reilly's Carrickfergus. Well, I could and it was wonderful. I like his voice, the song, and the visuals.
Big thanks!

@George,
Why, thanks for that Willie Nelson piece! Good music, authentic. Sounds like a good anthem for A2K too...

@ossobuco,
Well, gee, I could see and hear The Fields of Athenry too. What a lucky day..

When I visit WA2K I tend to try the songs by irish musicians first, since so many of them make me cry, in a good way - childhood memories well up. Not that I've been to Ireland, but they always remind me of my mother singing to me.

Since I'm on a roll, I try and see if I can bring up that link Tsar added.

Edit - nope. "An error occurred", the usual excuse.

Happy Wodin's Day, y'all. More rain and thunder in our Florida radio station.

Sorry that I can't acknowledge each contribution, but I noticed all were thumbed up so that's a "thank you".

I need somone to watch over my PC. Razz

Back later with Linda's version.

Odd, I keep getting "rely to all"

Maybe I should have played Crazy.

@eurocelticyankee,
Euro, I married one.. well, I didn't set out to fall in love with an 'irishman', but these things happen.
So, tell me the Leprechaun traits again!

Adds, the irish magic re youtube/my computer is still going on - I just pulled up your link and it worked. That may be Leprechaunian. I do love The Fureys.

Trying again, y'all, and if this doesn't work, I'll throw in the towel. Razz

Two songs by Linda and we know this about the dear lady:

In 2011, Ronstadt was interviewed by the Arizona Daily Star and announced her retirement.[32] In August 2013, she revealed to AARP that she has Parkinson's disease, and "can no longer sing a note.

Hey, tsar. You have any alka seltzer?
