@Letty,
The Blue Danube. Undoubtedly some of the best music ever composed, Miss Letty.

Sleep well, dear euroGeorge, and thanks for your comments. Love The Fureys' songs.

Tsar, as you know, I love Lady Day. Those were great by that lady.

Saying goodnight with two songs. First, some Gospel music.

Now, another Blue Moon song.

So nice having England and Ireland with us today.

Good morning WA2K!
Hope all the U.S. listeners had a good Independence Day weekend.
I went canoeing on Saturday with my boys and saw one of these fellows.

Good morning from here in our Florida radio station.

edgar, Welcome back and that song reminded me of:

"Get out those old records, those old phonograph records; kitten on the keys and Nola on the old wind up victrola." Razz

Izz with a y, Ruby Tuesday's Summertime Blues by those stones that always roll was a goodie, too. Remember Helen Reddy? Poor old Ruby Red Dress.
Latin George, Fantastic photo of that bird and your song reminded me of "row, row, row yout boat gently down the stream."

Two songs for the morning here. First dear Bobby and Sandra.

Once again calling all poets, musicians and painters. Remember, y'all, this is talk radio too.

I'm getting different info about this guy whose birthday is today, but he is from Argentina. Most of these languages in that area come from the original Latin.

Inspired by JLNobody when I showed him the portrait of a birthday artist who was the center of her painting:

Cognitive insight:

In the center of my mind,
I alway find myself.

In the center of my heart,
There is a different part

And that is trying to help others
Who have become like sisters and brothers

@vonny,
Vonny, I love Babs doing Memories; also The Clown song. Favor, Miss England: check out Caesar. While we wait, here another Clown. If you all recall, my older sister sent me a vinyl featuring Mario doing Enrico Caruso.

I never did understand what Babs meant when she sang People Who Need People
