Howdy all, just wanted to report that Mikey is alive and well with much happiness to me for learning this.
He had a wire issue connection thing wrong with his Internet and was busy so he hasn't gotten around to fixing it.
Some folks thought maybe he had passed on, but he's ok.
I called him and spoke with him a while and we had a great conversation for a good while.
Mikey is my best friends and I'm very happy to hear he's still among us.
He mentioned he hasn't been able to get into A2K for quite some time now because his password no longer works, so that's why he hasn't been around here for so long.
Happy trails all. Love ya man! Smile

Hoorah, our Mikey is alive and well. Thanks Montana.

tsar, You are one camel loving guy. Thanks, buddy.

For some reason, I thought of Peter Ustinov playing the harp in Julius Caesar.

@izzythepush,
How did you like Peter Ustinov, Izz with a y? Yes, indeed it is.

The expression in Latin reminds me of this

Another birthday lady, and she is still with us. She was Melanie in Gone Withe the Wind.

Can anyone here identify the classical music being played behind her tribute?

Once again, calling all poets, painters and musicians.

JLNobody is both a painter and a musician.

Here's one of my favorites, y'all.

@tsarstepan,
tsar, I love those black and white sketches by William of Africa. I used to do that type of art, buddy.

Well, folks, our Florida radio station had a brief power outage, but I think our tsar fixed.

For our Irish Americans, and especially for euroGeorge, here's a great song.

@McTag,
Welcome back, McTag. Spike Jones was hilarious. Shame about Buddy Rich. Great music by him on his drums.
<sniff> I never hear about Hawaii that I don't think of the Yitwails.

More synchronicity, Scotland.

@tsarstepan,
Tsar, That video was funny and educational. At least it wasn't Mellow Yellow. Razz F

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First, for our Canadian friends: Gentleman Jim.

Now, one more Hawaiian song.

Good morning to all from here in our radio station in Florida.

Strange, I've been trying to figure out to whom Don McLean referred when he sang, "..the three friends that I loved the most: the father, son, and the holy ghost." My mom used to talk about the "holy ghost" and, of course, it scared me.

Here's a birthday guy:

and, perhaps, this group got their name from him:

I think most of us know that alluded to the Viet Nam war.

Once again, calling all musicians, poets, painters and friends.

We've done one poet today, and one song named after him. Let's have some more.
