Once again, Region, thanks so much for helping me out.

Today is Ian Fleming's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

No starlight here, Stella, but Betty White is still with us.

An interesting take on a Disney Classic. (Is it too soon to call it a classic?)

MacTag and I go back along way, and it was horrible to read about the fire in Glascow's Art Center.

Welcome back to you as well, Izz with a y. Love that one dealing with Disney and the pirates.

@Letty,
Hi y'all today!
I know a guy (one of our trombone players) who knows a woman who sang with Billy Eckstine (when he was on tour in these parts, back in the day).

@McTag,
Love Billy and the "sassy" Miss Sarah doing Passing Strangers, McTag. Reminds me of Nancy doing this one.

What a surprise to find that this was a poem:

Good-bye Friends!

By Hollynd Karapetkova

See you later, alligator!

After while, crocodile!

In an hour, sunflower!

Maybe two, kangaroo!

Gotta go, buffalo!

Adios, hippos!

Chow, chow, brown cow!

See you soon, baboon!

Adieu, cockatoo!

Better swish, jellyfish.

Chop chop, lollipop.

Gotta run, skeleton!

Bye-bye, butterfly!

Better shake, rattle snake.

Our school day now ends.

So, good-bye, good friends!

Good-bye Friends!

Well, y'all, I thought that Sir Elton John did See you later alligator. Maybe I got it confused with this one.

See ya later gator, was Bill Haley and the Comets. I'm pretty sure it is older than Rock around the Clock.

I likes Billy Eckstine (sp) and Sarah.

@edgarblythe,
Carry on my Wayword son by Kansas was great, edgar. I remember that Phoenix/Bernice requested Dust in the wind by them. You were right about Later Gater, incidentally.

Here's Fats doing Kansas City, but the last song that I sang was that one. I changed the lyrics to match the meter:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mypHZmXdU3o&feature=kp

Kansas City, here I come
I'm going to Kansas City
Kansas City, here I come
They got a crazy way of loving there
And I'm gonna get me some.

I'm gonna be standing on the corner
42 Street and Vine
I'm gonna be standing on the corner
42 St Street and Vine
With my Kansas City baby
And a bottle of Kansas City wine

Well, I might take a plane I might take a train
But if I have to walk I'm going just the same
I'm going to Kansas City
Kansas City, here I come
They got some crazy little women there
And I'm gonna get me some

had no idea Glen did that one, edgar:

Mid pleasures and palaces
Though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble,
There's no place like home.

Great having (I call him MacTag because I found out that MacBeth was Scottish)him with us as well as our British friend.

Hope jcboy(Morgan) is okay.

Thinking of Sozobe tonight, and she looked like Jeannie With the Light Brown Hair.

edgar, There was a statue of John Henry in Talcott, West Virginia. Liked Harry's version.

I didn't know that poet either, but it was her birthday, so I played it here. It reminded me of The Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst. Crying or Very sad

Hear is Jeannie:

From Letty with love to everyone here.
