@Letty,
Hi Miss Letty,
That Banshee movie looked good, love Vincent Price.
I'd sooner meet a will o' the wisp on me travels than a banshee.
We're being rather spooky tonight Miss Letty.

Led Zeppelin are being taken to court by the estate of the man who wrote this. They claim Stairway To Heaven is plagiarised. Listen and see what you think.

Good morning from our Florida radio station. Was awakened early by a loud weather report from the TV.

edgar, Thanks again for your comment. Didn't know Terry doing Suspicion, so thanks again for the introduction.

I do know Rod doing Maggie May, however. Great one.

Calling to euro in Dublin. I became fascinated with mythology when I was just a kid, but when my late husband and I went to see Midnight in the Garden of good and evil, we sat and listened to Skylark while everyone else left the theater.

More synchronicity, y'all. Today is Alexander Pope's birthday and he's the one who inspired "...Fools Rush In.."

Here's the king doing an interesting version of a song.

and what a surprise to hear Andrea doing this one.

Unchained Melody is a great song, with many many interpretations. First time I ever heard it, Al Hibbler was singing.
I didn't know that version of Can't help Falling.

edgar, Thanks again for your comment, and I had no idea that Bobby did When I look in your eyes.

Inspired by Izzwitha y song Taurus.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar. Love Saddle Serenade by Ken Curtis and The Novelty Aces.

Well, it looks as though there will be no more "ole" , Texas.

Today is Dennis Day's birthday, and I thought that I would play two versions of this poem set to music:

@edgarblythe,
I agree with you about Dennis, edgar. I love that one by Hank Snow "the singing ranger, " Honeymoon on a rocket ship was funny.

One of Bud's friends, Jack Dishman, told him that after world war II one could only lease land in Hawaii. Here's the ranger (Canadian, incidentally) doing a song about that beautiful island and he's features a little fish with a big name.

I became fascinated with those islands when I read Michner's book

@Letty,
Evening folks,

Dennis Day, by a mile Miss Letty. I like Roger's video though.

Great hearing Janis and loving My Little Grass Shack In Kealakekua.
I used to watch Hawaii Five-O with Jack Lord and that's about as close to Hawaii I've been.
