@Letty,
Glad you liked it Letty. Here's the original, much shorter and simpler version, that broke millions of hearts in the 80s:

I was fond of the Meadowlark, when I lived in California. Haven't observed any in many years.

I am a Glenn Miller fan.

Thanks for the shorter version of that great group, Olivier5.

edgar, as you know, I love Sam Cook. Had no idea that he did that song, however

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I played Olivier5's long version again. I was thinking of something else at the time. (divergent thinking)It was the second face that I saw on my fan palm. It was giving me a huge grin.

Love that funny one from The Music Man, and thanks for the comment on the birds..

Today is Al Pacino's birthday, so here is a tribute to him:

I loved his tango in Scent of a Woman

@Letty,
I try to listen in here once in a while, in case I can actually bypass lack of adobe flash and get to hear youtube stuff. (I'm now starting to listen to Guardian music videos, may come back and add vids here.) Anyway, I clicked on since I saw Olivier's name, as I do when I see Euroceltic's, just in case, as they tend to add music I might not know, and this time I could hear two of Olivier's (the loving people on a bench one, and Caetano Veloso, whom I've heard before, still like). Beaming excellence.

@edgarblythe,
Me too, re Glenn Miller. When we re painted our house in the seventies, I had the Glenn Miller album volume up pretty high once in a while.

osso/jo welcome to our radio station.

edgar, Stan Freberg was hilarious. I tried to find "the bubble machine" but no luck. Thanks for you comment on Al.

How about a bit of jazz for the day, y'all.

@Letty,
I have been here before, Letty.

My computer company (iMac) does not support Adobe past the age of my computer (early 2006). Youtube is tied with all that.

It doesn't support anything else either, past their cutoff.

I liked Roy Orbison since he was on Sun Records with Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich and others, back in the 50s.
Same with Elvis.
