edgar, check it out again. I had our editor update it.
George, Loved Runaround Sue and Bruce doing Born to Run.

hbg, Sleep well, and I never hear that Choo Choo that I don't think of Don Galloway. We were still doing Telerama then and Don stuck his head through the curtain and sang: Pardon me Roy is that the Cat that ate your new shoes.

Later, I found out that he had died. Crying or Very sad

Ah, I had hope that Karen and John doing Coming Through the Rye would have persuaded McTag to visit our studio.

Izz with a y. I remember when I was a wee thing, I told my mom to say:

"Guide Me Safely through the night, wake me with the morning's light.

Two songs for the morning here in our Florida radio station. First Dione:

Once again calling all poets painters and musicians.

a poem for today

.
The Wild Iris

At the end of my suffering
there was a door.

Hear me out: that which you call death
I remember.

Overhead, noises, branches of the pine shifting.
Then nothing. The weak sun
flickered over the dry surface.

It is terrible to survive
as consciousness
buried in the dark earth.

Then it was over: that which you fear, being
a soul and unable
to speak, ending abruptly, the stiff earth
bending a little. And what I took to be
birds darting in low shrubs.

You who do not remember
passage from the other world
I tell you I could speak again: whatever
returns from oblivion returns
to find a voice:

from the center of my life came
a great fountain, deep blue
shadows on azure seawater.
Louise Gluck

Today is her birthday.
