@edgarblythe,
Love that one by The Four Aces, edgar. I think the only reason that I know this lady is because she collaborated with Johnny Mercer.

@edgarblythe,
Didn't know that one by Frankie Miller, edgar. Thanks again for the introduction.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with The Four Freshmen:

@Letty,
good evening msletty , ed and all other listeners !

the " four freshmen " one more time : Old Cape Cod

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Abqv7egBWvI

( what a great arrangement ! )
..................................................................

and they are still going strong !

Quote:
The Four Freshmen is an American male vocal band quartet that blends open-harmonic jazz arrangements with the big band vocal group sounds of The Modernaires (Glenn Miller), The Pied Pipers (Tommy Dorsey), and The Mel-Tones (Artie Shaw), founded in the barbershop tradition. The Four Freshmen is considered a vocal band because the singers accompany themselves on guitar, horns, bass, and drums, among other instrumental configurations.

The last original member retired in 1993,[1] but the group still tours internationally to sold-out audiences and has recorded jazz harmonies since its late '40s founding in the halls of the Jordan School of Music at Butler University (Indianapolis).[

Good morning from here in our Florida studio.

edgar and Herr Hbg, Your goodnight songs were great Had no idea that the Four Freshmen did Old Cape Cod.

As Texas knows, I like Country Bumpkin and we appreciate his comment on our goodnight song.

I used to sing that song, hbg when I killed cock roaches in my garage. Who Stole my Easter Basked was funny and Easter Parade was worth playing twice.

Yep, Easter Sunday always makes me think, y'all.

Two songs for today. First Andre:
