@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, edgar. I listened and watched that entire biography of George Jones. As Endy said, being creative can be a double edged sword.

I tried to locate our album of Where and Oh Where Has My Highland Laddie Gone (also mentioning King George upon the throne) It is my understanding that the term hill billy originated in the highlands of Scottland.

Thinking of my mom today and she loved this song. (incidentally, a casket is a box)

@edgarblythe,
That was a very subtle BUMP, edgar. I would have been proud of it.

@edgarblythe,
Somehow, I first read that as the Klingon Trio, but I'll check it out, anyway.

Thanks, edgar and Roger. Loved all of those songs, Texas. I'm a bit tired so I'll say goodnight now. Love this song.

Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

edgar, liked the jester and Walter, and I appreciate your comment as usual.

Today is this guy's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

@Ragman,
ragman, I have that Joan Baez recording on vinyl. Also have the Kingston Trio version on CD. Got Dylan's original on vinyl. It's a wonderful song.

I like Wayne Newton, mostly. First time I heard the Dolby song.

Sorry, Ragman, I missed your Baez song. As edgar knows I love that lady.

Welcome back izz with a y.
As edgar noted, I didn't know Dolby, but loved that Screen Kiss, buddy.

I was surprised to learn that Wayne was from Virginia, y'all. The one that I recall best by him was "Daddy Don't You Walk so Fast."

edgar, we all enjoy what he plays on our radio.

I was discussing Charles Trenet with Olivier5 and he agreed with me on the man's great ability. I know I have played La Mer before, but it's worth another listen, methinks:

When I want to be calm and relax, I listen to that fantastic song.

This is appropriate today. Over here we're experiencing dirty rain caused by dust from the Sahara desert.

edgar, thanks again for your comment on Charles. Loved Doc Watson doing Blues Stay Away From Me. I noticed that he also did St. James Infirmary, too.

Pushman, Loved that Rain song by The Fab Four.

Here are two songs for the afternoon in our radio station. First, Van the Man.

Now, a funny one by Hugh Laurie.
