edgar, Frankie Valli and The Fours Seasons doing that one made me laugh. Love it. Odd, Gene Pitney doing Crying reminded me of Roy Orbison. Didn't know that one by dear Bobby so once again, thanks for the introduction.

Latin George, love that one by The Eagles and the Muppets always make us smile.

My left shoulder muscle was pulled again via allergies. That's the reason that I played Moanin'

Hate going to a clinic, but I felt everything will turn out positive. It made me feel especially nice when the lady told me that my Beth and I looked alike.

Going to say good night with a birthday gal doing two versions.

First, a solo by Diana:

Now with The Supremes:

Nice to have Ros on a real rolly and our Brit as well.

From Letty with love to all of you here.

@rosborne979,
And here it is in its physical incarnation... which I wouldn't have believed possible if I hadn't seen it.

@edgarblythe,
Bingo! Who knew that Blondie did this, too?! Bless you, Debbie!

And, as warped as I am, for contrast here's Burl Ives original recording of the same song:

Good morning from a chilly radio station in Florida. Ghost Riders and Bumble Bee Boogie were great ones. Sorry that I can't comment on each contribution, y'all, but I'm still a bit groggy.

Here's a birthday gal, the sassy Sarah:

Hope this works.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment and personal acknowledgement, edgar. Don't know that on by Jerry Lee, but it reminded me of my telling song.

@edgarblythe,
As you know, edgar, I like everything that Joan does. Thanks for your comment on Ella, and I think this one goes with Amber Eyes.

What a surprise to find out that "the king" did it.

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know Anna either, edgar, but I knew the song.
Harry doing The Grizzly Bear was great.

How about our poem for today, y'all.

John Milton. 1608–1674

318. On His Blindness

WHEN I consider how my light is spent
E're half my days, in this dark world and wide,
And that one Talent which is death to hide,
Lodg'd with me useless, though my Soul more bent
To serve therewith my Maker, and present 5
My true account, least he returning chide,
Doth God exact day-labour, light deny'd,
I fondly ask; But patience to prevent
That murmur, soon replies, God doth not need
Either man's work or his own gifts, who best 10
Bear his milde yoak, they serve him best, his State
Is Kingly. Thousands at his bidding speed
And post o're Land and Ocean without rest:
They also serve who only stand and waite.
