Finally, I slept, thanks to our bump boy.

pushman, That was a great song. Thanks again for the introduction.

edgar, That one by Sachmo was great. He is a wonderful world himself.

@Letty,
I hope McTag's Messiah went as well as he intended. I'm rehearsing for a performance of Handel's more modest Sonata in F major, opus 2 for flute, violin and piano at school.
Letty, thanks for the tribute to Renoir, one of the great romantics--like you.

edgar, thanks for your comments. Had no idea that Johnny Cash did Ghost Riders in the Sky.

My favorite by you was that fantastic performer on acoustic guitar, Paco de Lucia. Thanks again for the introduction.

JL Nobody, welcome back to you as well. Your performances will be great, my friend, and I am delighted that you still refer to me as romantic. I knew that you would enjoy that great artist's birthday.

Here's another birthday guy. We've done him before, but he is worth another salute:

@edgarblythe,
Funny, edgar. Al did do that one for Sonny Bono.

Loved Townes At My Window. Just curious, as always. How many of those folks did you recognize in Al's song:

Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.

Charlie Chaplin.

Sammy Davis

I think Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.

More synchronicity. Here's a tribute to Shirley Temple.

@edgarblythe,
I had no idea Eddi Fisher did On the Street Where You Live. I always loved My Fair Lady.

I guess we are all aware that Sony may have been murdered, and Marylin Monroe as well.

So long ago, someone said: Once, Twice, Three Times a Letty and we love her. Wish I could remember who it was.

nco' s candle reminded of Elton's John's tribute to Marylin.

First, The Commodores:

Now, Sir Elton's tribute to Marylin:
