Thanks to all of you for restoring our radio.

Morgan, Really enjoyed Nickelback and Tom Jones' It's Not Unusual is one of my favorites.

Latin George, The Traveling Wilburys did a great song.

Odd, edgar. I didn't know that one by "the king". Don't Leave Me Now was good.

Hope I didn't miss anyone, and I hope you all enjoyed Stan Getz and the Graham guy.

Today is Eva Cassidy's birthday, and here's some info on the talented lady:

Eva Cassidy was born 2 February 1963. Growing up in a musical family on the outskirts of Washington, DC, she sang as a small child and later learned to play the guitar. Even then as a child she had an amazing gift for perfect harmony, and on family outings, she would sing, harmonising perfectly with the music from the car radio. Her father, a teacher of children with learning disabilities and a part-time musician, formed a family band with Eva, her brother Danny, on violin, and himself on bass. She endured school, preferring her own company and, whenever possible, being involved with music and painting.

Now, a tribute to the lady who died of cancer.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! edgar. I didn't know Send for Me by Nat. Great one, and thanks for keeping us on the air. I always appreciate your comment and personal acknowledgement.

Don't know if I played this one before, but if so, it's worth playing again

Sad that there are only two of the bunch left.

@edgarblythe,
Incidentally, y'all, I wanted to play Here Comes the Sun, because rain is everywhere.

edgar, Kathy's Song by Art was grea, and it reminded me of this gal:

We'll dedicate that one to our Canadian friends.

I never knew the name of that Ann Murray song, letty.

Most of us know Lefty Frizzel for the original Long Black Veil and Saginaw Michigan. But, mostly, he sang like this, for much of his career

Evenin' all.

Just got back from a very long drive and a particularly frightening sea crossing. The first time I've ever been seasick!

It looks very much as if I am going to sign on the dotted line for another fermette, not that far from the one my brother and I renovated all those years ago. Very long story......

Heard this on 'Nostalgie' radio earlier, and have been humming it ever since.

edgar, Didn't know that one by Lefty. His Long Black Veil will be a mystery forever.

Ah LAW man, good to see you back with us as well. That's an oldie but a goodie. French maybe?

How about a waltz.

@edgarblythe,
Loved Global Carnival by Harry.

Time for me to say goodnight, and since tomorrow is Ground Hog day let's get a bit of info on that animal.

February 2, when the groundhog is said to come out of its hole at the end of hibernation. If the animal sees its shadow—i.e., if the weather is sunny—it is said to portend six weeks more of winter weather.

Now a funny Bill Murray trailer about that creature.

Now, a lovely Moon Song.

From Letty with love to all of you here.

@jcboy,
Welcome back, Morgan. Loved that Be Bop by Cyndi. Hope the ground hog in your area didn't see his shadow.

How about a bit of classical for the day.
