@jcboy,
Morgan, don't know that lady nor her swing. I guess you know what a chambermaid is, right?

You just made me glad all over.

Today is Dave Clark's birthday.

I do wonder how many folks here have a theme song?

@edgarblythe,
This seems to be an excessively bumpy road. Brings to mind the Chesterton poem.

Before the Roman came to Rye or out to Severn strode,
The rolling English drunkard made the rolling English road.
A reeling road, a rolling road, that rambles round the shire,
And after him the parson ran, the sexton and the squire;
A merry road, a mazy road, and such as we did tread
The night we went to Birmingham by way of Beachy Head.

Welcome back, Debacle. A perfect poem for the occasion. Do you have a theme song?

Morgan, I wish I could dance again. Miss it, and here's one that talks about "the bumpy road to love.

@Letty,
I think he's being a bit rough on Birmingham. It might not be the most beautiful city on Earth, but that's no reason to visit a notorious suicide hot spot en route.

If we didn't have Birmingham we wouldn't have Slade. Time for a Christmas song.

I'm sorry about your computer, edgar. Maybe later.

Hey, Pushman, you sent me searching again.

"Merry Xmas Everybody" is a 1973 song by the English rock band Slade. Written by lead vocalist and guitarist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and produced by Chas Chandler, it was the band's sixth number-one single in the UK. It earned the UK Christmas Number One slot in December 1973, beating another Christmas-themed song, Wizzard's "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday", which reached fourth place. By mid-January it was still at number one; it stayed in the UK Singles Chart well into February 1974

Be sure and check out "the bumpy road to love", buddy. That was a great song.

Your Slade reminded me of this one: "a one horse open slade".

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think I shall do so with two songs.

First, inspired by Morgan's Stelar, one by Ray. It was our edgar who told me that this was from The Uninvited. Wish I could have seen the original, but I saw the remake.

Now Josh with our hymn for Sunday.

Great having England with us as well as Ontario via Germany.

Got up early this morning so that I could catch Latin George before he went to work.

Loved all of your songs, George, and La Bottine's Dirty Face Off was funny. Mary Chapin Carpenter's song reminded me of the intaglio of Joseph the Carpenter and Jesus. Don't know how to download photos, or I would.

How about Bobby Darin, y'all.

and since it's Beethoven's birthday, a funny one by ELO.

back later with one by Mario that reminds me of edgar.
