from from ghosties and goulies and long legged beasties and things that go bump in the night, good lord deliver us. Razz

Listened to all of the songs, folks. Too many to comment on. Suffice it to say, they were all great.

Nice to have Morgan back with us, and our hbg is always welcome here.

I had a one minute dream last evening. I had parked my car close to a mine shaft and some woman tried to steal it. I asked for help from the crowd, but no one came to my assistance. I awakened with numbness in my feet and it was a mess.

The bump boy is welcome as well.

edgar, I remember listening to Lineman for the County by Glenn, and found out later that those odd notes in the background were flutes.

How about David Bowie for the morning here.

Love this one by him.

Uh Oh, Today is black Friday 13 and everyone is afraid to visit the witch.

Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow, sorrow for the lost Lenore,.
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore,
Nameless here forevermore.

Hope someone will restore our signal

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, edgar, for keeping us on the air. I know Rocky Raccoon. Didn't The Beatles do one about him?

Here's another Richie.

@izzythepush,
Delightful, pushman. As we have often observed, Christmas is for kids. Thanks for the introduction.

Was that a crow or a raven?

How about another King, y'all.

@Letty,
Mortimer the Raven. He only says one word. He was my introduction to Edgar Allen Poe.

Talking of ravens.

They sell cuddly ravens in the gift shop.

time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two items.

First, Johnny Mercer.

We'll dedicate that one to the push man.

Now a funny one by Rich Little.

I loved your raven's pushman. and here's a bit of info on Poe

One of the University of Virginia's earliest students has remained one of its most famous. Efforts are being made to keep his memory alive.

Renovations on the West Range rooms this summer include some sprucing up of No. 13, purported to have been slept in by Edgar Allan Poe.

When I got my masters degree at UVA, I Inspected that bedroom. We'll never know how he died.

Great mix of music on our radio today.

from letty with love and a Christmas wish to all
