First I would like to thank MizIzzie for remembering my birthday. I went out last evening with my daughter and wore my Chinese silk pajamas, which are black and covered with gold spangles. They look very witch like. Unusual to have a gang of trick of treaters, but I only gave to one. He was a little boy who gave me a big smile when I told him that I was a witch. His mom was Southern and had a drawl just like mine. Every one at the Outback restaurant sand happy birthday to me and the food was again par excellent.

Now, a reminder. The man that I met the last time that we went out to eat was East Indian and loved this guy.

euro, Thanks for your best wishes for my birthday, and as usual, the acknowledgment of me personally.

Last evening, they had The Cry of the Banshee on TCM.

Loved all the music that you played here,but too many to site each one I'm afraid.

Here's a birthday guy. He wrote The Red Badge of Courage, and died too young.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for keeping us on the air, edgar. I read that book, buddy. Your comments are always appreciated.

Really liked that one by The Drifters, and here's one to match.

Roger, More synchronicity. I just played a member of the Rat Pack, and you pop up with your belated Happy Birthday. Thank you, dear friend.

edgar, Loved that one by Brook Benton.

and even more synchronicity. Frank did Deep Night, and today is Don's birthday.

First, Starry, starry night.

See if you can whistle or sing along with this one: Gerard Hoffnung at the Oxford Union, with the story about the builder and the barrel of bricks.

edgar, Didn't know that guy, but it was an oldie and a goodie.

Welcome back McTag. I've hear of stand up comedians but never one sitting down. Funny Bricklayers by Gerald. Glad the Lochness monster didn't hurt you.

A birthday guy. I wanted to play his performance in Texas but was afraid of the scorpion sting.
