A suggestion from your program director. It's better to reply to topic as it acknowledges each contributor.

Hey, pushman. That was a fabulous explanation and beautiful photos. Thanks for the further development.

I think our edgar's reference was to that Bizet contribution.

Hey, Texas. I liked that one by Harry and here is some information on zombies.

The Serpent and the Rainbow is a book written by ethnobotanist and researcher Wade Davis and published in 1985. He investigated Haitian Vodoo and the process of making zombies. He studied ethnobotanical poisons, discovering their use in a reported case of a contemporary zombie, Clairvius Narcisse.

How about one of my favorite poems for today. I think it had to do with hbg's reference to clouds.

Welcome back, euro, and that one by Snow Patrol was great as was Midnight Hour. Maybe you would be happier with Midnight at the Oasis.

Tryingtolearn, both edgar and I love that one by Jim Reeves.

Thanks to all of you for your personal acknowledgement.

Going to say a bit early as need the sleep.

First, for our push man:

good night / good morning to all !

let us remember Mahalia Jackson - it's her birthday today !

Mahalia Jackson (/məˈheɪljə/ mə-HAYL-yə; October 26, 1911[1] – January 27, 1972) was an American gospel singer. Possessing a powerful contralto voice,[2] she was referred to as "The Queen of Gospel".[1][3][4] Jackson became one of the most influential gospel singers in the world and was heralded internationally as a singer and civil rights activist. She was described by entertainer Harry Belafonte as "the single most powerful black woman in the United States".[5] She recorded about 30 albums (mostly for Columbia Records) during her career, and her 45 rpm records included a dozen "golds"—million-sellers.

@hamburgboy,
Another great composition by Strauss, hbg, and thanks for the personal acknowledgement. I think King Tut was deformed at birth which caused his early death.

Let's walk like an Egyptian, Ontario.
