Odd, I just saw George's name on here, but can't find his contribution. I'll take this opportunity to clarify a mistake. First, The Russians defeated the French by retreating. It was so cold there that they had to turn about and retreat.

Love all your songs, folks.

Here's one to match edgar's Sea Cruise.

and, the lyrics.

The breeze and I are saying with a sigh
That you no longer care
The breeze and I are whispering goodbye
To dreams we used to share

Ours was a love song that seemed constant as the moon
Ending in a strange, mournful tune
And all about me, they know you have departed without me
And we wonder why, the breeze and I

edgar, Thanks for restoring our signal, and I love Louis and Keely doing that one. Keely is part American Indian and lives in Norfolk, Va. (she is still with us)

saying goodnight with two songs.

First a tribute to Larry Hagman whose birthday is today.

Another strange happening. I was feeling a bit down and heard this one on our TV monitor here. Love you, Jim.

I once told Bob Welles that I need to get my priorities straight, but I love keeping our radio on the air.

From Letty with love to all of you here.

Oops, I just came back to say that Trying to Learn and I share the same interests. She likes Jim Croce's song, too.

Thanks, gal.

I liked Larry Hagman. I always thought he limited himself in his choice of roles, but maybe he wasn't given a choice. His mother, Mary Martin, was a wonderful performer too.
I guess we all like Jim Croce

Good morning everyone.

edgar, Jerry Lee's How's My Ex Treating You was great.

hbg, That trio's Match Box Blues was great. Especially enjoyed the acoustic guitar by Scott Peterson. I recall his having been convicted of killing his wife when she was pregnant. Such a terrible thing and still unresolved.

Eva, Welcome back and Handel's Messiah is perfect for today.

Welcome back to you as well, euro. Love that song by "the jester", and I love lookin at photos of dogs. Strange that you should mention Indian Summer. Here is one version of it.
