Thanks to you all for the wonderful music on our radio station. Wish I could acknowledge each one, but suffice it to say that all of it was excellent.

hbg, What a nice surprise to see a dedication to me from you and Gordon. I am now feeling much better.

Good morning from here in Florida.

@edgarblythe,
thanks for your comment, edgar. I didn't know Slim, but Don't Let the Stars Get in your Eyes was a goodie, along with the rest of the music.

Here's one by Joe.

@Letty,
Good evening Letty, and all WA2K listeners. High summer in England and to celebrate the gorgeous weather, here's In An Enlish Country Garden by Jimmy Rodgers

Vonny, both edgar and I love Jimmie.

edgar, Navy Blue by Diane is delightful, too.

Another garden, and I'll bet our vonny knows this one.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I like Friends in low places by Garth.

Going to say goodnight a bit early, however

Andrea.

There really was an Eric but just as the boy king, they both were deformed.

I just noticed it was played for Lady Diana. Sad

Fantastic music played today on our radio. Thank all of you.

From Letty with love to you all.

Today is the late Steve Goodman's birthday. He wrote the following and his most famous song, which I played last night, is City of New Orleans.

An acquaintance of Bob Dylan's discovered the music to Don't Think Twice. It was forgotten for quite a few years. He let Dylan have a copy and Dylan wrote Don't Think Twice off it. Then the acquaintance contacted Dylan and said, please don't do anything with that music. Dylan replied "I just recorded it."
