Good morning to our radio contributors. Hurry back, Brit. The Statler Brother were great doing that song. Joni Mitchell's River was excellent, too. I'm going to have to check out The Pet Shop Boys. Ah, me, what a beautiful tree of lights.

edgar, you hurry back and I enjoyed George Harrison's Within and Without, especially the visuals. Ruba Dub Dub was funny by Hank.

hbg, I love all of Marty Robbins' songs, also Tutti Fruitti by Little Richard. I always enjoy your polkas as well.

Hope I didn't miss any of our contributors music. A bit of a restless night last evening.

Today is Jim Messina's birthday, so let's hear one by him.

Reminds me of the Elysium Fields.

Found this one by The Pet Shop Boys as inspired by our cockney friend.

@hamburgboy,
Hilarious, hbg. I had forgotten about otters and jug bands.

Back to Rudyard Kipling again. Remember Rikki Tikki Tavi?

Inspired by McTag reporting that moongooses had invaded a golf course.

I said that I hoped no cobras appeared on that golf course.

When you get a chance, Ontario, check out the tribute to Jim Messina and the Pet Shop Boys.

@Letty,
I watched that same Disney presentation on the original broadcasts of the TV show, Disneyland. I was an avid fan.

@edgarblythe,
I was as well, edgar. Lou Monte's The Italian Mouse was hilarious.

Remembering Satt fs. He was brilliant. Here's another he found for me.

@Barry The Mod,

We were at The Lowry (adjacent to Media City) this afternoon to see a show, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, which was very good.

Very like the film. The dancers as well as the music were great, and the costumes and stage settings were marvellous too.

edgar, You sent me searching. Is this the guy doing that beautiful song?

Tim Story is an American composer of modern chamber music that incorporates classical acoustic instruments and electronic sounds.

The visuals were so lovely, and if I'm not mistaken, I heard a flute, a cello, and a contra bass.

Welcome back to you as well, McTag. Didn't know Teddy the Toad by the Count, but he is always great. Flying Home by Hamp I do know. Great jazz, buddy.

Now, another snow song.

edgar, I didn't know that lady, but I certainly know The Music Man and Carousel. Sorry about her demise.

Welcome back, Barry. What a shock to find out that Dave Brubeck has died today. I remember him best for Take Five. Good Tribute to him.

Christina Perri's song was lovely. Thanks again for the introduction.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, a birthday man. Here's some info.

JJ Cale, born John Weldon Cale on December 5, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter and musician.

Now, the song.

Now, dear Ray doing Stella by Starlight; both edgar and I know that it originally came from the movie called The Uninvited.

Great to have London, Ontario, and Scotland with us today.

From Letty with love to everyone.
