edgar, I replayed that song, and you're right. There is a strong resemblance.

euro, Love that one by Louis Jordon. What a great way to "pun" a response.

One of my favorite hymns as a tribute to Finland.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know that one by Sam and Louis. Wonder if Keely is alright?

euro, My word! I just discovered who your Beckett was. I was thinking of a different one.

Here's the most insane thing that I have ever heard by that man.

@Letty,
You were thinking of a different Beckett?, I'm curious now.....

My favourite play by Sean O'Casey is 'Shadow of a Gunman'.
Here it is here, maybe some day if you have an hour to spare you might watch it.

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, do you recall Thomas A Beckett?

Soon after the death of Thomas Becket, Pope Alexander canonised him and the murdered priest was elevated to sainthood. Becket's shrine at Canterbury now became the most important place in the country for pilgrims to visit.

Love The Ink Spots doing I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire. As you know, my mom loved them, too.

I will attempt to watch your Irishman's video later. For now, how about some brothers of the mill type. Razz

Mom loved them as well

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks again for your comment, euro. I think Mary eventually said "Viya Con Dios" to Les. Some time ago, I discovered that Les Paul played jazz. I like that one by them, however.

Here's one of the most under rated performers in history. The man was not only talented, he was extremely versatile in many languages.

I was in a theater, watching a film profile of Nat King Cole, narrated by Jeff Chandler, who was dead by then, just days before I learned Nat had died. I could not find that tribute, but I did find this.

@edgarblythe,
You sent me searching about Jeff, edgar. Had no idea he sang that song, buddy.

Here's the trailer from Broken Arrow.

Just heard from yitwail. He's alright as well. Smile

More synchronicity. I met a family from Miami who were an ethnic mixture of Cuban and Apache.

edgar, that art rather reminds me of Van Gogh, but I'm sure it isn't.

Well, it seems that Rock has accepted my invitation as well. You still dense?

Barry, know both those songs by Chicago. Are you waiting for the break of day?

Here's a new face on the horizon doing a tribute to Frank.

We'll dedicate that to Joe of Chicago as well.

It's a humerous painting, letty. It takes the Pac Man game and puts the images it uses on a picture that's copied from Van Gogh.

How wonderful to have so many different countries with us to day.

As I have often observed you all are WA2K radio.

The kids from Orlando are taking me out to eat tonight.

My way of acknowledging our contributors is by thumbing them up.

Just a reminder.
