P.S. Glad hbg could make it yesterday. Fantastic one by Rossini, and I especially liked that one by Hamp.

One of my favorites by him.

Fantastic, hbg. Ah, fond memories of Basin St. East when I was in New York.

What a trio, and Danny Kaye was one talented guy. I like to be cute, hbg. Razz

@Letty,
Good music people. The Kyu Sakamoto version of Sukiyaki is one of my all time favorite records. Both tastes of honey are fine, as is Frankie's song.
A song I like almost as much as Kyu's song is this one called She Ain't Got No Yo-yo

Thanks for your comments, edgar. UhOh! Rock slipped in here with Bugs. Love that one by the Fab Four.

Wow! that China Nights by Shina is marvelous. I know it, too.

Now, The Chinese Opera.

edgar, That was indeed the most beautiful Chinese song that I have ever heard. Thanks again for your comment. We'll dedicate that one to George and his lovely bride and to Wandel and Annie.

dj, you missed our tribute to you via The Statler Brothers. I've been reading about the other Zimmerman, buddy, and "the jester" did Tom Thumb's Blues quite well. Don't know that one by him but it was a good one.

Hope your sister had a great birthday.

Saying goodnight with two songs.

First by two Texas guys. What a surprise to find out they were from Austin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA0Knw7O5r4

I know that I've played these two before, but they're worth playing twice.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEQnC1MTIQE

More synchronicity. Today was George Takei's birthday, but I couldn't find a proper tribute. (he was SuLu on Star Trek)

So nice to have Canada and London with us today, and hope that Dublin returns soon.

From Letty with love of ethnicity.

They were worth hearing twice, letty.
That version of Tom Thumb's Blues was side B on the single of Like a Rolling Stone. I like it as much as the version on the Album Highway 61 Revisited.
