I remember LeVar in Roots. I didn't see enough of the Star Trek series to realize he was in it too.

Hey, Brit, Welcome back and I think you may be correct about the eye in the sky. UhOh, The all seeing eye? Illuminati? Enjoyed The Alan Parsons project's Eye in the Sky. It fit perfectly.

edgar, great one by Rufus Thomas. Loved the visuals on everyone Walking the Dog. Thanks again for your comment.

Today is Sonny Bono's birthday, so here is a tribute by Al Jolson. (love that guy)

Music of the Spheres by Rameau

( while this is being performed the movement of the constellations are being projected on giant screens - a very moving experience )

Quote:
The Galileo Project: Music of the Spheres

Explore the fusion of arts, science and culture in the 17th and 18th centuries in this imaginative concert commemorating Galileo’s first public demonstration of the telescope. Tafelmusik musicians perform the music by memory to a backdrop of high-definition images from the Hubble telescope and Canadian astronomers. Featuring poetic narration, choreography, and music by Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Bach, Lully and Handel.

hbg, Music of the Spheres was fantastic. I know that one, too.

euro, Welcome back and thanks for your comments. Yep, I should have had our editor check out those visuals on Sonny before I played his tribute.

That Flower Duet is fantastic, and I also know that one, Irish. Enya's Journey of the Angels a gem and loved the visuals on that one.

Today is Vera Ellen's birthday, so I chose one that featured some of yesterday's stars. Some info on the lovely lady.

Vera-Ellen (February 16, 1921 – August 30, 1981) was an American actress and dancer, principally celebrated for her filmed dance partnerships with Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Danny Kaye and Donald O'Connor.

euro, thanks for you comments, and I really liked Clifford's Gaye and The Corrs, Runaway.

edgar, Chaz Bono's dance with that lovely lady was good. I had no idea that Sonny wrote Laugh at Me.

Somehow, The BeeGees are stuck in my head, so here is one by them.
