Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.

edgar, I most assuredly remember Dennis Day, but I don't think that I ever listened to The Jack Benny show. Perhaps my mom did.

Certainly didn't know that he sang Mona Lisa, however. Thanks for your comment and you hurry back.

hbg, I love the oldies. Some I know and don't know why I know them, but when one comes from a musical family, it hard to separate total recall from genetic memory.

I know Teresa Brewer but not George Segal. Love Under the Bamboo Tree and Alexander's Ragtime Band, Ontario. Thanks for the memory.

Here's a surprise. I cannot believe this child is so talented. Indeed a prodigy, but often I become a bit concerned when one so young possesses such talent.

@Barry The Mod,
Welcome back, Brit. You like Dusty Springfield? Just kidding. I Only Want to Be With You was great, however.

First one that I kept wanting to hear over and over. Had nothing to do with the heart, however.

@Barry The Mod,
Thanks for your comment, Brit. Love Makem and Clancy's Red is the Rose, especially the Irish whistle and the acoustic guitar.

Here's one to match.

@Barry The Mod,
Ah, Brit. You do know that Mayonnaise is just a poor man's hollandaise sauce, right?

Really like True Love ways by Buddy. Never knew one thing about him until Don McLean wrote American pie.

Here's the Saint himself.

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours.

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool done run out I'll be giving it my bestest
And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and then you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love

Listen to the music of the moment people, dance and sing
We're just one big family
And it's our God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

D-d-do do you, but do you, d-d-do
But do you want to come on
Scooch on over closer dear
And I will nibble your ear

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do, our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

(I won't hesitate)
Open up your mind and see like me
(No more, no more)
Open up your plans and man you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours
(It cannot wait, I'm sure)

So please don't, please don't, please don't
(There's no need to complicate)
There's no need to complicate
(Our time is short)
'Cause our time is short
(This is our fate)
This is, this is, this is our fate
I'm yours

Hurry back, Brit and don't over eat. Your song wouldn't play here, but I found it and it was great.

Welcome back euroGeorge. You sent me searching again.

Domenica "Nikka" Costa (born June 4, 1972) is an American singer whose music combines elements of funk, soul, and blues. She also had a career as a child singer starting in the early 1980s. She is the daughter of notable music producer Don Costa and is married to Australian producer/songwriter Justin Stanley.

Lovely song, and I'm glad that you were smothered in Valentine cards.

Also enjoyed Mr. Mister Broken wings.

Welcome back to you as well, edgar. Fantastic version of Paree for Valentine's Day. Unusual to hear accordions played there. Great one.

Thinking of popular song taken from classics, so here is Matt again with one taken from Chopin.

First, Matt.

@eurocelticyankee,
Beautiful song by The Fureys and Davey Arthur, euroGeorge. I Will Love You is wonderful, and the visuals were so calming. Thanks, Irish.

Reyn hasn't been on the forum in a bit, but he's alright. Still wondering about mac11. Hope she's doing fine.

I don't know this lady, but what a wonderful voice she has. Can't locate her profile anywhere.

Hey,the ones you send to yourself don't count.

Paree ain't what it's made out to be in the movies Ed.I'd rather go to Liverpool (for scouse) or Birmingham (for a proper curry).

Another good one from Mr Monro Ms PD.
Didn't know I liked Chopin until I saw this movie....

I'm into Valentines Day plus one,so here's a few tracks for those who don't feel romantic....
Judy Judy Judy -

Judy Garland - A Cottage For Sale.

Our little dream castle with every dream gone,
Is lonely and silent, the shades are all drawn,
And my heart is heavy as I gaze upon
A cottage for sale

The lawn we were proud of is waving in hay,
Our beautiful garden has withered away,
Where we planted roses, the weeds seem to say,
A cottage for sale.

Through every single window, I see your face,
But when I reach a window, there's only empty space.
The key's in the mail box the same as before,
But no one is waiting for me any more,
The end of my story is there on the door.
A cottage for sale.
