Thanks to our edgar for all of the comments he makes on what we play on WA2K.

Didn't know Timi Yuro's What's the Matter Baby, but it was a good one

Dance of the Nymphs was glorious, especially the visuals.

hbg, I used to watch The Grand Old Opry and Hee Haw all the time.

Hurry back, Brit. Enjoyed The Contours Baby Hit and Run.

I think that I shall say goodnight a bit early tonight. Need to get used to eastern standard time, I guess.

First, Hee Haw.

Now, a lovely version of Ave Maria by Schubert.

Great to have Ontario and London with us today.

From Letty with love and devotion

I always enjoyed the spirit of Hee Haw, letty. Good friendly fun.
Ave Maria is to me one of the greatest songs there is.

What edgar said, wm. Especially like the funny version of Misty.

Hurry back, Texas. Going Going Gone was a cover of that Dylan song, right?

Two songs for the morning here.

First, on by a guy I met at Glade Springs.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comments, edgar, and that is the best that I have ever heard "the jester" sing.

Ah, "The King". Don't know Don't You Think It's Time, but it was a good one.

Our Brit has run off with Anitra dancing on his head. Liked both of his songs, however, especially I Love You Anyway.

It's this lovely gal's birthday, so here is one by her.

Joni for me is one of those problematical artists. She writes great songs and expresses thoughts with which I agree, but I only like a few of her recordings. The one you just played is pretty good.

Ramblin Jack never sings great, but I love his way of doing it.

@edgarblythe,
I agree with you, edgar, about Joni. Judy did her Both Sides Now much better.

Ramblin Jack's Pastures of Plenty was the way it was then. I like that era in music history. Didn't know that one, but it deserves a salute.

Jack's Pastures reminded of Green Pastures. Here is a great Irish instrumental about the horse of that same ilk.

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know that one either, edgar, just wanted to match pastures.

Great one by The Ramones. I vaguely recall the California Sun. I like it, buddy.

Today is Al Hirt's birthday. He's done a lot that I like, but Java is a good one.

Ann and Al did Baby It's Cold Outside? Certainly didn't know that, Texas.

Well, Al did Bert, so let's listen to him. Love this.
