Dear Rock, Love Moonlight Serenade as well. We may never know what happened to Glenn. Another history mystery.

edgar, thanks again for your comments, and I remember the theme from Summer Place, but have forgotten the movie. Had to check it out.

Paul Simon's You Can Call Me Al was great. What a talent, Texas.

I was thinking about Poe's Black Cat, and to make a long story short, this cat is smiling because he got revenge. We'll never know how Poe died, either.

More synchronicity, yawl. Noticed that Paul was taking a tour of Graceland, and I am assuming it was The Elvis one. I'm certain that our edgar will correct me if I am wrong.

Saying goodnight with Elvis who is another history mystery.

So nice to have other countries with us today.

From Letty with love to the world.

Blue Hawaii is one of Elvis's good ones, letty.
Here is Ray Charles with one of the greatest records of all time, in my view.

The song Graceland is a wonderfully conceived vision. It was the title of the album on which it appeared. Here, you may read the lyrics as it plays.

The melding of South African styles and Simon's trademark sensibility made for one of the most intriguing albums--not to mention commercial hits--of the 1980s. At once lively, thoughtful, gorgeous, and tough, Graceland acknowledges splits both in South Africa's social fabric and in Simon's personal life (the title track is a clear descendant of the earlier "Hearts and Bones", a song about the singer- songwriter's brief marriage to Carrie Fisher). Humour is hardly absent from the mix, though; witness the addled "I Know What I Know" and the fable-like "You Can Call Me Al". --Rickey Wright

Paul Simon - Love And Hard Times.

God and His only Son
Paid a courtesy call on Earth
One Sunday morning
Orange blossoms opened their fragrant lips
Songbirds sang from the tips of Cottonwoods
Old folks wept for His love in these hard times

"Well, we got to get going," said the restless Lord to the Son
"There are galaxies yet to be born
Creation is never done
Anyway, these people are slobs here
If we stay it's bound to be a mob scene
But, disappear, and it's love and hard times"
I loved her the first time I saw her
I know that's an old songwriting cliché
Loved you the first time I saw you
Can't describe it any other way
Any other way
The light of her beauty was warm as a summer day
Clouds of antelope rolled by
No hint of rain to come
In the prairie sky
Just love, love, love, love, love

When the rains came, the tears burned, windows rattled, locks turned
It's easy to be generous when you're on a roll
It's hard to be grateful when you're out of control
And love is gone

The light at the edge of the curtain
Is the quiet dawn
The bedroom breathes
In clicks and clacks
Uneasy heartbeat, can't relax
But then your hand takes mine
Thank God, I found you in time
Thank God, I found you
Thank God, I found you

Thanks, edgar, for the further explanation. Yes, music is poetry. I'm Going to Graceland by Paul was fantastic, as was our Brit's Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes along with Love and Hard Times.

Love Georgia on my Mind by Ray, too.

Interesting, Here is one by James and Yo Yo that fits perfectly.

As well as his morning song, yawl. (just found out that Chris Tucker is losing his mansion to foreclosure)

Love that one by George Harrison as well.

Another shocker about Elvis.

Eleven drugs found in Elvis's autopsy report.

@edgarblythe,
You sent me searching again, Texas.

Train is an American pop rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1994. The band currently comprises a core trio of Patrick Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (guitar, vocals) and Scott Underwood (drums, percussion).

Train, with a line-up that included original members Rob Hotchkiss and Charlie Colin, as well as Monahan, Stafford and Underwood, achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Train, which was released in 1998 with the hit "Meet Virginia". Their second album, Drops of Jupiter (2001), brought the band massive popularity. The lead single from the album, "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)", was an international hit and won two Grammy Awards in 2002. The album was certified double platinum in the United States and Canada and remains the band's best-selling album to date

Great one, and thanks for the introduction.

Here's one to match Train and Ray. Brook's rain ain't sweet, however.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know that one by the jester, edgar. He does a good job with both the vocal part and the harmonica. Thanks for keeping us on the air and your comments. Did I hear him mention "rue morgue"?

Too weird, because guess who that once again reminds us of.

Poe!

In 19th Century Paris, the maniacal Dr. Mirakle abducts young women and injects them with ape blood in an attempt to prove ape-human kinship. He constantly meets failure as the abducted women die. Medical student Pierre Dupin discovers what Mirakle is doing, but too late to prevent the abduction of his girlfriend Camille. Now he desperately tries to enlist the help of the police to get her back

Rock, That was a beautiful video of Usher. The Allan Parson's project I didn't know. Thanks for the introduction.

Thanks for your comment, edgar. Yes, it was the first detective novel. Poe did them all.

The House of Usher sinks into the tarn.

I think most of us know that the graveyard sift has to do with people who wandered through a graveyard to detect those who might have been buried alive. Every interred person was given a tiny bell to ring just in case.

Another by Poe. This is the trailer for such a happening. Check out the info concerning the story.

I had forgotten that Ray Milland was in Love Story.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, don't forget to check out Usher and Ray. ah, dear Elvis. Never heard Like a Baby.

There have been so many sightings of Elvis and one of Michael Jackson at Graceland. Word has it that Michael faked his death. Rolling Eyes

One from his last concert.
