Interesting video letty. I suggest the lead vocalist not quit his day job, however.

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, Texas. I smiled when you said that you were too hyper to be calmed by the brook music.

Thanks for Ray Charles' Hard Hearted Hannah, and I'm Looking Through You was one by The Fab Four that I didn't know. Thanks for the comments and the music from Tony Braxton. Unbreak My Heart is great.

Here's a birthday boy for the morning.

Happy Birthday, Tony.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, Texas. My word, I have never heard of a jug band before. The was great. Coal Oil? Didn't know there was such a thing. Aren't diamonds formed in coal.

Here's one that I do know, however.

Coal oil is very similar to kerosene. I remember people using coal oil lamps.
I like Ramblin' Jack very much. I have no illusion about his vocal abilities, but he has "character."

@edgarblythe,
I know all about kerosene lamps, Texas. I have an old mantle lamp here that I bought at the outer banks of North Carolina.

Johnny did that song from The West Side Story beautifully. Romeo and Juliet never die, do they.

Here's one to match The Jester's St. Augustine's song.

I have played another song by Bob Dylan with the same name, letty. I never heard this Forever Young, or the artists doing it, before. Here is still a third Forever Young, by Rod Stewart.

@edgarblythe,
Things have subsided a bit here in the Thor area of Florida, edgar. Loved Forever Young by Rod. I like him better every time I hear him.

Here's a great version of an old song by a Filipino man

I also recall a movie by Mel Gibson who did the cryogenics thing to stay young. Don't think that story about Walt Disney is right, however.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! That was Bobby Darin? Great visuals and great song by him. Thanks for the comment and the introduction to yet another fine vocalist using a different style, edgar.

How about a Young man now. First a little info.

Neil Percival Young (born November 12, 1945) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of his generation. Young began performing as a solo artist in Canada in 1960, before moving to California in 1966, where he co-founded the band Buffalo Springfield along with Stephen Stills and Richie Furay, and later joined Crosby, Stills & Nash as a fourth member in 1969. He then forged a successful and acclaimed solo career, releasing his first album in 1968; his career has since spanned over 40 years and 34 studio albums, with a continual and uncompromising exploration of musical styles. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website describes Young as "one of rock and roll’s greatest songwriters and performers". He has been inducted into the Hall of Fame twice: first as a solo artist in 1995, and second as a member of Buffalo Springfield in 1997.

Now, his song.

Ah, our edgar is no longer hyper and has fallen asleep.

My goodnight song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o9SYuHeNNM

and, the lyrics.

Songs were made to sing,
While we're young.
Every day is Spring,
While we're young.

None can refuse,
Time flies so fast!
Too dear to lose,
An' too sweet to last!

Though it may be just
For today!
Share our love we must
While we may!

So blue the skies,
All sweet surprise,
Shines before our eyes,
While we're Young.

Found the one by Peggy Lee, but it was loaded with advertisements.

Hope our Brit's ok.

From Letty with love to the world
