@eurocelticyankee,
Reefer Madness, euro? UhOh.

Loved that updated version of the R and J play.

JULIET:
'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

Apparently "Reefer Madness" is a movie, I'd never heard of
it and I cant see myself watching it.

@eurocelticyankee,
Hamlet was probably one of "The Bard's" worse plays, euro.

You sent me searching again, Irish.

Richard Melville Hall (born 11 September 1965) better known by his stage name Moby, is an American DJ, singer-songwriter, and musician.

Moby sings and plays keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and drums. He became a successful artist on the ambient electronica scene, and achieved eight top 40 singles in the UK during the 1990s. In 1999 he released the album Play, a mix of melancholic chill-out, ambient music, and upbeat electronica, that was critically acclaimed and produced an impressive eight hit singles (including his most popular songs "South Side", "Porcelain", "Natural Blues" and "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?"). Play became a commercial success, selling
over 10 million copies worldwide, (the best-selling electronica album ever) and with its eighteen songs receiving an unprecedented licensing in films, television and commercial advertisements.

Thanks for the introduction. I enjoyed Why Does My Heart Feel so Bad.

Well, we know who his name sake was, right?

@eurocelticyankee,
Goodnight, dear Irish.

You sent me searching again.

Philip Parris "Phil" Lynott (20 August 1949 – 4 January 1986) was an Irish musician who first came to prominence as a founding member, principal songwriter, and frontman of the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. As leader of the band, Lynott's vocals and bass guitar were a key element in the commercial success of thirteen albums, in addition to a string of hit songs. Lynott also embarked upon a solo career, published two books of poetry, and after Thin Lizzy disbanded, he assembled and fronted the band Grand Slam, right up until his death at the age of 36.

Thanks again for all your comments and The Pretenders Don't Get Me Wrong was great.

Here's my goodnight song.

Clifford T Ward - Home Thoughts From Abroad.

I could be a millionaire if I had the money
I could own a mansion, no I don't think I'd like that
But I might write a song that makes you laugh, now that would be funny
And you could tell your friends in England you'd like that
But now I've chosen aeroplanes and boats to come between us
And a line or two on paper wouldn't go amiss
How is Worcestershire? Is it still the same between us?
Do you still use television to send you fast asleep?
Can you last another week? Does the cistern still leak?
Or have you found a man to mend it?
Oh, and by the way, how's your broken heart?
Is that mended too? I miss you
I miss you, I really do.

I've been reading Browning, Keats and William Wordsworth
And they all seem to be saying the same thing for me
Well I like the words they use, and I like the way they use them
You know, Home Thoughts From Abroad is such a beautiful poem
And I know how Robert Browning must have felt
'Cause I'm feeling the same way about you
Wondering what you're doing and if you need some help
Do I still occupy your mind? Am I being so unkind?
Do you find it very lonely, or have you found someone to laugh with?
Oh, and by the way, are you laughing now?
'Cause I'm not, I miss you
I miss you, I really do.

I really do.

Good morning from Florida.

Hey Brit, you have good taste. Oh, you mean the cannibals. Neat joke! Dear Michael and Smile. Love that song, incidentally.

Clifford T. Ward's Home Thoughts was tender. Especially enjoyed the poets to which he referred. Hurry back, buddy.

Edgar, Tommy Collins Monkey song was funny. Hey, Texas, we could be swinging on a star.

Irish, Travis' Why Does it Always Rain on Me and the escape song was one that I know. Pina Colada? Yep, but a little too early for that one. Love He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother by the Hollies. Thanks for the comment on Thin Lizzie, buddy.

neco nomad, that John and Marsha is hilarious. Love Stan Freberg. His The United States of America presentation always makes me smile.

Two songs for the morning here.

First, The Griswolds at Stone Henge

Chevy Chase is so funny.

Now, a birthday gal.

Did yawl know that a guitar could talk?

Hope I didn't miss anyone. If so I'll blame it on the pina colada and John. Razz

@eurocelticyankee,
You sent me searching again, Irish, and thanks for your comments.

Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963 in Paddington, London, England), known simply as Seal, is an English soul and R&B singer-songwriter, of Nigerian and Brazilian background. A recipient of BRIT, MTV and Grammy Awards, Seal is known for his numerous international hits; perhaps best known is Kiss from a Rose which appeared in the soundtrack to the 1995 Batman film Batman Forever and won him three Grammy Awards. He is married to German model Heidi Klum.

That song by him was fantastic. Yep, I guess we have to be a bit crazy to survive.

One to match.

Yep, Paul is still excellent, Irish.

I listened twice to Peter Gabriel. He is absolutely great. Don't know him but I loved the song and the visuals. Was that cabbage or head lettuce? Razz

Here's an interesting song that I found.
