Good morning from here in my Florida studio.

edgar, Loved your Little Richard goodnight song. Freedom Blues was great.

Hey, Brit. What a fantastic show for Queen Elizabeth. Listened twice.

Here's one that we copied from her.

and, yawl, a Happy Birthday to one of our Brit's boys.

America the Beautiful is the best song out there to celebrate our country, in my view.
I never got caught up in the Hugh Laurie thing. Good video for his birthday, though.

@edgarblythe,
Never heard It's Late by Ricky, edgar. Thanks for the introduction and the comment.

I discovered this one accidentally when I was exploring "the follow fellows and gals"

What a fantastic voice that kid had.

Ricky made a number of albums I haven't heard.

Think about it, Nat, says Jerry Lee Lewis

@edgarblythe,
Me, too, edgar. That kid is amazing.

Don't think this is Nat's answer to Jerry Lee, but "Perhaps"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=habWYM364RA&feature=related

Perhaps we had better hear the lyrics in English.

Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps

you won't admit you love me.
and so how am i ever to know?
you only tell me
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

a million times i ask you,
and then i ask you over again.
you only answer
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

if you can't make your mind up,
we'll never get started.
and i don't wanna wind up
being parted, broken-hearted.
so if you really love me,
say yes.
but if you don't, dear, confess.
and please don't tell me
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

if you can't make your mind up,
we'll never get started.
and i don't wanna wind up
being parted, broken-hearted.
so if you really love me,
say yes.

perhaps, perhaps, perhaps,

Nat is of course one of the very best. Here is a song I used to hear Hank Snow do on radio, as a kid.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know that one by "the singing ranger", edgar. The first one that I ever heard by him was a TV commercial: "I've Been Everywhere".

From Tangled Mind to Tangled up in Blue.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know that one by Donovan, edgar. (don't know where I first heard The Bells. I think it was on the radio) Wear Your Love Like Heaven was great as is that tall, lanky performer.

Well, Deano answers with Heaven Can Wait

I didn't know Deano's song.
Gene Wilder was one of my favorites for a long time.

Morning Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K folks.Easing into Sunday morning with a Billie Holiday song....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgFqvteVrMI&feature=related
Madeleine Peyroux - This is Heaven to Me.

When I hear them say
There's better living
Let them go their way
To that new living
I won't ever stray
'Cause this is heaven to me

Long as freedom grows
I want to seek it
If it's yes or no
It's me who'll speak it
'Cause the lord, He knows
That this is heaven to me

If you've got your hands
And got your feet
To sing your song
All through the street
You raise your head
When day is done
Shout your thanks up to the sun

So when I hear them say
There's better living
Let them go their way
To that new living
I won't ever stray
'Cause this is heaven to me
'Cause this is heaven to me

Ben Harper doing a song written by the Boss....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOl1FDLJeg8&feature=related
Ben Harper - My Father's House.

Last night I dreamed that I was a child out where the pines grow wild and tall
I was trying to make it home through the forest before the darkness falls

I awoke and I imagined all those things that pulled us apart
Will never again Sir tear us from each others hearts
I got dressed and to that house I did ride from out on the road I could see those windows shining in light

My fathers house shines hard and bright shines like a beacon calling me in the night
Calling and calling so cold and alone
Shining cross this dark highway where our sins lie unatoned

Good morning, WA2K folks.

Had some problems with the equipment in my wee studio, but all seems to be well now.

edgar, thanks again for your comments. Really enjoyed listening to Bobby do Come Rain or Come Shine, and "the jester's" Country Pie is one that I didn't know. Thanks, Texas.

Hey, Brit. Don't know Madeleine, but her cover of Lady Day was fabulous.

Never heard Ben before, and that lap guitar was interesting. His cover of "the boss's" This is My Father's House was really good as was Bill Evans' love theme from Spartacus.

Two songs for the morning and they are both quiet jazz songs.

First, a birthday boy.

Crystal Silence

Now, the wonderful Herbie Hancock's Dolphin Dance.
