Goodnight, edgar. Thanks again for your comments. Kris' Closer to the Bone was great. Never heard that one. Hurry back, Texas.

Rock, Gram Parsons Hickory Winds was fabulous. Thanks for the goodnight song.

Ah, Brit, I love The Pink Panther theme by Bobby McFerrin, and Roberta Flack's The Very First Time was one we all know and love since it was meant for Don McLean.

Mission Impossible by Lalo and the LSO was fantastic as well.

Didn't know that The Eagles did Love Will Keep us together. Had to check out "ankle biter". The was my dog Domino, incidentally, but I guess you were referring to my daughter. A lobster claw on a necklace is a sign that it is gold, methinks.

Two of my favorite performers were born today.

Enrico and Michele, so let's hear from them this early morning.

First, Michele.

Now, Enrico doing the clown over a period of three years.

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar, and welcome back Francis.

I like Windmills of Your Mind, too.

Don't know Janet Baker's Clair De Lune. The only one that I have heard it by is Debussy. She was great, however.

Today is Billy Zane's birthday. (found out the gem that Kate dropped into the ocean was an amethyst.)

Here he is singing; the voice of Drake in Charmed.

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know that he could sing either, edgar.

Loved that one by Eydie. I had forgotten about Steve and her.

Remember the 60's?

Here is a reminder, Texas.

@edgarblythe,
You know, Texas, I haven't really heard much lately that beats the old songs. Maybe it's because I haven't been listening like I should.

I know that one by The Beatles.

Incidentally, they've postponed The Discovery flight again. I have been wandering out back most of the day waiting to see it.

Here's a funny one. I wonder if there really was a ship called this.

I first became aware of Glenda Jackson when she was a member of The Royal Shakespeare Society. In that capacity, she played Charlotte Corday, the killer of Jean-Paul Marat, in Peter Weiss's play, Marat/Sade. Marat Sade is short for the true title, which was or is the longest title in the world: The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat As Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum at Charendon Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade. Videos of her singing are rare, but she sang rather nicely in that play. She was good with the Muppets too.

@edgarblythe,
You explained that before, edgar. He had a great voice. Thanks for the memory.

Speaking of Charlotte Corday, I judged a forensic meet once, and the girl who did her was fantastic. She didn't win because the other judges said that she used gestures. Rolling Eyes

You sent me searching again, buddy.

@Rockhead,
Rock, Peter Sellers was the most fantastic actor that I have ever had the pleasure to watch and hear. Didn't know that he did that one, buddy. Thanks for the introduction to yet another side of him.

I watched Charlotte Corday earlier, letty. That's a fascinating time of history. Charlotte of course went the way of Marie Antoinette as her punishment.
The Pogues are kind of funny.
Merci Bon Dieu
