Great to see Ragman with us again. Don't know snowbound, but I know what it means as I was snowbound in Southwest Virginia. It was so cold and slick that I had a violent case of hypothermia.

Hey soccer George. I thought that Rhys was getting his work out with fencing. Touche, Rhys.

Thanks, edgar and euroGeorge. A warm welcome is what I need. That old North wind is blowing.

Hey, Brit. Loved that smooth jazz nightshift song. Hope all is well in London.

Ah, love Manhattan Transfer, Irish, especially that "song of love".

Today is this "Great Dane's" birthday and he is both talented and funny.

Happy Birthday, Victor.

@Letty,
Letty, loved the Maestro, Victor.
Some sad news, the venerable Pete Postlethwaite has passed,
a fine actor and a modest family man. R.I.P.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks to you and edgar for the comments on what we play here.

More synchronicity. My daughter bought the CD of Inception but I never got to watch it.

Wish I had.

edgar, Loved I Keep On Going With The Flow by Charlie Rich

Hey, hbg. Don't know that Fox Trot, but I tried to find Mr. Mozart's Turkey Trot with no success.

My goodness, we have a father and daughter team with us today.

ehBeth, Don't know Ron Sexsmith. What an appellation. Thanks for the introduction, gal.

Another Robert Burns song by Jo Stafford, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comments, Pogo possum. Razz

You sent me to the archives, Texas.

Geoffrey Arnold "Jeff" Beck (born 24 June 1944) is an English rock guitarist. He is one of the three noted guitarists, along with Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, to have played with The Yardbirds. Beck also formed The Jeff Beck Group, and Beck, Bogert & Appice, besides his successful solo career.

Great Carol by Jeff. Thanks for the memory.

Another memory, y'all. Anyone remember The Andrew Sisters? Today is Maxene's birthday, but let's remember them as a trio.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with Billy Vaughn.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIPpO1XsKG4&feature=related

and the lyrics.

Red sails in the sunset
Way out of the sea
Oh carry my love one
Home safely to me

She sailed at the dawning
Oh way out and blue
Red sails in the sunset
I'm counting on you

Red sails in the sunset
Way out of the sea
Oh carry my love one
Home safely to me

Sweet wind we must borrow
Make straight for the shore
We'll marry tomorrow
And you'll go sailing no more

Red sails in the sunset
Way out of the sea
Oh carry my love one
Home safely to me

Sweet wind we must borrow
Make straight for the shore
We'll marry tomorrow
And she'll go sailing no more

Red sails at the sunset
Way out of the sea
Oh carry my love one
Home safely to me
Oh carry my love one
Home safely to me

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love
