okay, panz, now I understand about "hard love"; rather like tough love. Yep, that funny remark about Ron Howard and Chuck Berry was hilarious.

My word, edgar. That song by Ray Price, Missed the Saturday Dance was great, and Roy Orbinson's, Shahdaroba made me think about the sands of The Nile.

Also like The Ames Brothers, The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane. Cute, and witty.

Never heard that on by "the jester". Just Like Achilles was different. (Bob's no heel Razz )

Today is Dirk Benedict's birthday. Remember the A Team, y'all?

I remember they aired the first episode of A Team right after the Superbowl. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. I think I watched about fifteen minutes of it. Razz

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, I never hear Jack Jones that I don't think of Alan Jones's Donkey Serenade. Loved the Gypsies, Jugglers, and Clowns.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with Billie Holiday.

Just saw the full moon rising with a lovely ring of color surrounding it.

Goodnight, world.

From Letty with love

Good morning, WA2K, folks.

edgar, Really enjoyed Tony Bennett's If I Ruled the World and Yimi Yuro's Italian songs were lovely. Don't know her.

Hey, Brit. Sorry about Dusty and your tributes to her were fantastic. I've always loved that lady.

Speaking of birthdays, however, Today is Karen Carpenter's birthday. She died of anorexia nervosa.

First Karen.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know Earl Grant, edgar, but I must certain know it's Gotta Be This or That. Thanks for the introduction, Texas.

Speaking of Basin Street East, y'all, here's the king of the clarinet. Fond memories of New York City.

Most people have heard this by Earl Grant. His biggest selling record.

Benny Goodman can't be beat, letty.

@edgarblythe,
Now that one I know, edgar. I love it. I never paid much attention to the person when I was young, just the song.

Well, we're having some fun on patiodog's Conspiracy theory discussion, so it's time for a classic, y'all.

I read several books on Napoleon, in my early years. I believe Emil Ludwig wrote the last one I perused. He was fascinating then, but I don't really care these days.

@edgarblythe,
I don't either, edgar but when I taught I always got the kids' interest in Western Civ by presenting them with those history mysteries.

Well, today is Jon Bon Jovi's birthday, so how about one by him, y'all.
